An excellent, supportive running shoe

Excellent cushioning, great looking shoe (I got them in blue). They're well ventilated and light.

The arches are a little higher than what I'm used to, and at first I found them a little uncomfortable (I have fairly flat feet).

They are a little narrower than my old shoe (New Balance 759). If you have wide feet I'd suggest trying a pair on before buying.

I was a little apprehensive about changing brands (I'm a New Balance fan), but fancied a change and Saucony are generally held in quite high regard in the running fraternity.

At first I found them quite uncomfortable - dynamically, these are different to my old NBs, with a higher arch and narrower toe area. The high arch is something I've been looking for, as flatter soles hurt my legs (flat feet). However, I feel these are already improving my foot strike and technique.

It's too early to tell if these will be durable or not - I've done roughly 100 miles in them so far and they feel nice and robust. Don't let the lightness put you off, these are very well made and solid.

Overall, I'd say these were a good buy (I bought them on sale, online). I would recommend trying them on in a shop (and testing them, if you can), but I took a gamble and I'm very happy with the Sauconys.
