a 5k schedule you should be able to lower your 5k to under 20 mins.
shouldn't the last (and fastest rate) be for distances below 5K and for above 5K?(2) In the earlier weeks it says for the major run during the week that the pace is "run/walk". What is meant for this? Should I run until I'm spent and have to recover
The better half of Legless.have been following a beginers schedule, in preparation for first 5k on july 7th. Picture shown does not resemble me in the slightest (Legless chose it!!) Will have to change it very soon.
I'm looking to enter my first 5k or 10k race quite soon as I've registered to enter the Glasgow half marathon in September and want to find a schedule that will gear me up for that event
at the schedules on the training section of this siteEG6-week Intermediate 5K Schedule http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/news/article.asp?SP=&V=1&SP=&v=3&UAN=72 Why not do whatever you used to do - it seems to have worked OK! popsider is correct with that point
I have just started running, and am halfway through the 5k training schedule. I am aiming to run a 10k charity race in June !!! Have just completed my 10k run in 1h18, not the fastest, but ran all the way!!
