whilst supporting at FLM! H. and I dragged ourselves out of our beds at 5am and drove down to London from an icy Manchester. We met up with the URWFRC crew at mile 17 and spent the following four hours cheering and clapping all the very warm runners. We

warm-up at Reading it was hard from 3 miles in. Mile 18 was wonderful, not just because of the gin. I will allow 10 minutes next year to hug EVERYONE who was there. You supporters are stars! Fuelled by gin, I managed to stop two people giving up
with a vengeance around 16 miles. I kept running to 19.5, missed the URWFRC supporters at 18 despite searching for them, and ended up walking/limping and hobbling my way home in 3:52:52. Not far off my target but it may as well have been an hour
of staff. Eventually Imanaged to get there by crawling up and over the stairs finding yet anotherwait of 20 minutes for the return. By the time I got back to Lewisham I wasuncontrollably shivering, luckily I manage to attract the attention of a
