consider myself a beginner..and each mile took you 11.40 i take it you missed out a '1'.....I wouldn't try and follow and intermediate schedule right now, you'll run a high risk of getting injured..... oi1 m 40syeheyno I wont teasestill sounds fit to me
Hi me again, i have just completed week 2 of the beginners schedule and felt great on the run!!!Im a little concerned as to whether i am going to be to much as i am running 3xweekly at the moment i am also starting to play football on a Thursday
how the training has gone. Just wondered if anyone else had used the schedules from the book and how they found them. My cousin used it to train for his first marathon. He was a total beginner and he came in at just after 5hrs. I don't know which plan he followed
in September but have not run for over 12 months in total although have been doing pilates/yoga/swimming and just wondering where to start retraining ... any ideas or advice? Should I be starting on a beginners schedule or leap in a bit higher?

I have been using the get you round schedule printed in Runners World, the one which states a 2 1/2 hour run / walk for this penultimate week. Having just looked at the Get you round schedule on the RW website it shows ony a 70 minute run! Can only

are always written by sub 2h30 marathon runners, yes they give you the beginners training schedule, etc. but I always get the impression that hardly anyone who reaches the pinnacle of running ever actually started out as an obese 24 year old who was sick
