Real beginner - not fit,over the last couple of months started walking to build stamina,lose weight and generally to feel better in myself.Wish now to progress to running short distances.

I'm interested in running as a beginner and maintaning fitness. Have previously run but generally give up as I start to eager and end up with an injury and not having the ability to walk after one night's running!! too much enthusiasm, too little
