what's the best cross training to help shin splints?
Hi all,I've been running on and off for most of 2003, but managed to give myself a nasty dose of the shin splints in October, after trying to up my distance from 10k to half marathon in 3 weeks (doh!).Am now easing into a FLM training programme

I'm thinking of buying either a stationary excercise bike or a real, road racer type bike for cross trainng.I'm not partcularly into cycling but I need a cross training outlet on my non-running days.I fear I am over training and picking up injuries
