At the moment i run 3 times a week, twice with the running club and once on my own at the weekend, i can't spare much more time to train. How do i improve the distance that i can run? At the moment i can run 7-8.5 miles depending on the terrain.Any ideas gratefully recieved. Incr...

Speed for endurance training for Berlin??

/interval training into my plan for London, and I have for Berlin this year, but I just can't seem to get any faster when running long distances. Has anyone got any advice how to increase speed for endurance???ANY help would be appreciated!Thanks, Tori Hi Victoria

Is cross country running any good as marathon training? I thought that races of 5 miles or so wld be too short to build up endurance. Cross country would be fine for the shorter midweek runs when there's more of an emphasis on speed, but a 5 mile

have seen quite a bit of the "doesn't matter whether you run or walk the endurance training distance" you still build the endurance. Does this apply also to simply hiking requisite distance as this could be a nice change in summer months? Postmen
