with Meldy....sounds like piriformis. I've had it and my symptoms were the same as yours. The piriformis can also affect the sciatic nerve.I massaged mine with a foam roller and also stopped running and stretched it out as soon as I got any pain
's mostly known as ITB syndrome. Already done my first session lying on a rolling pin. Better that than a ligament tear! I usually steal a tennis ball from the dog, they make good massagers too! IT Bands for sure. Foam ROLLER ROLLER ROLLER! Works every time
