10k training schedules
How fast for the intervals?

HiThis is probably a really obvious question but in the 10k schedules what pace should I be doing for the interval sessions - 8*400m/6*600m? I'm aiming for a time of 50mins.Thanks

I am going to be starting the 10k running schedule and there is a few things that I don't understand.On one of the days it is asking that I do 35-40 mins light fartlek. What on earth does FARTLEK mean.Any help would be most appreciatedFrom Kellyxx I

First race in 8 weeks (10k). I usually weight train twice a week, can/should I fit this into the 10k training schedule and if so, which would be the best one to choose? Check out the schedules on this site. I weight train (followed by a swim) twice

I have just done my first 5k and have signed up for a 10k in October to give me plenty of time to train. Was looking at the 8 week training schedule on here but don't entirely understand what descriptions like: 2M easy, then 4 x 400m, with 400m or 3

schedule for 2-4 months up to 20-25 miles/week, but that sounds like an awful lot to me, and how do I do it? Just run further each time? Am a bit stuck. Can anyone help? Linds Checkout the training tab, tons of 10k schedules in their. Good lord! 20
