10k advice please for newbie!
by smjy2k

be possible. Try adding some speedwork, say maybe 6 * 400m reps once a week. Agree with Jon, distance fine but a weekly speed session will benefitDo a 2 min recovery jog between each rep, and a 10 min warm up and cool down

Running parkrun tomorrow
by bradley

out for a time tomorrow at parkrun - plenty of time to recover from a 5k. My sessions next week will be slightly different though - I'll do a few 400m intervals with the club on Tuesday, then a very gentle 4 miles on Thursday, nowhere near marathon

1500m predictor sessions
by paul mainwaring

long and you're totalling 2400m anyway which probably would compensate for the long recovery.200m flat out - x by 2 and add 4 seconds = 400m race predictorThere is a really good 800m one -run a 400wait one minuterun a 400then have 10 mins off and do
