anyone have any good schedules/advice? by chick

for the 8km as a new goal. All the training schedules on RW seem to be for 5k or 10k. I've serached the internet but the only schedule i can find is on hal higdons website. Does anyone else have schedules or advice they could give us? ThanksChick I think

training ! Dezza - I used the sub 2:30 schedule for my first half marathon and on the day I got round in 2:08! So, as far as I am concerned THEY WORK! I followed the RW 10K schedule for a 6.5k race this year (first time I'd used a schedule) and got a PB

and thus wouldn't be trying to kill me by making me run myself into the ground.  I started 8 weeks ago on the 5K training schedule and have to say it's been great.  The sessions have been at just the right level for me to have to push myself that bit harder

as the schedule.2x49min 10k 3x39min 5milers and 1x21min 5k.My weekly mileage has been around 25-30 except last week 40miles.19 miler 2morrow giving another 40 miles.Planning 21 miler on 16th then 19 mile race on 23rd,18miler on 30th then a10k race on 6th April

Hi There, I have been follwoing the sub 60 min 10 mile training programme (it's great!) but I have a question on week four: the schedule says "6 x (800 + 400) at 5K pace with 90 secs recoveries after each"Can anyone tell me what this means
