I usually don't drink any alcohol 4 weeks before a race. However I have 2 weddings one week before a 10K race. Do you think it actually makes that much of a difference?Thanks only makes 5 minutes difference to me between running whilst hungover

Has any one had a drink this week?

's helped me to sleep - but I'm worried the alcohol will have un-done any good work. Any one been like this? Won't have any adverse effects on you at all. As you say - its helped you relax in the evenings. I wouldnt recommend getting bladdered on Saturday

Why doesn't it mix well

at about 4pm I was hoping for a more reasoned (scientific) reply.It's obviously more than the dehydration-effect which impacts performance . . . . . I have abolished all alcohol untill the marathon. GOOD OR WHAT!!! Excellent Sara, me too! Only way to avoid
