I've recently become a bit obsessed with bagels, after reading how many carbs they have for fuelling runs. Though i just wanted to check what sort are generally best to eat. Im eating new york co plain bagels, are these ok to complement running

Why bagels?
For training, it's so common. But why? by Garr

Why are bagels so commonly the food of runners and triathletes, rather than some sort of bread rolls? What do they offer that, say, a granary bread roll doesn't? I know they're baked differently (dough is boiled before baking) but does that change
