Hi, I've been running for many years but never been that fast. I'm upping my pace to around 9min miles however I'm finding breathing very difficult. After around 2 miles I'm struggling for air. As soon as I start running my breathing is very shallow

I have read in RW about breathing techniques and have tried some but I have come to use breathing as a guauge or limiter to the effort I am putting in. I stand to be corrected if it is not good technique. Being a fairly new serious'ish runner

Can any one help with any ways to control breathing. I run 4 - 5 times a week 1 @ 5k, 3 @ 10k, 1 @ 15 - 18kMy breathing is always really hard. I eat healthy have between 7 t o 8 hiurs sleep. Even though I'm eating healthy could it be I'm not eating
