Started running in October last year and I ran the Sleaford 1/2M a few weeks ago (1Hr 29). The following day calfs a little stiff but still went out with the intetion of running a steady 9. Got to 2M (running 8min/mile pace) and pulled up

just increased the level of training it could be that the muscle in the calf has expanded faster than the sheath that surrounds it. IF this it the case then rest is really the only cure. However I agree with Elise that massage wil probably help

slight discomfort at the back of my calf

on in the evening I got a slight discomfort on my left calf (at the back - middle towards the knee). It is not a bad pain and I can walk without pain or feeling it a lot, just feel it a bit when I am walking stairs. Just wondering whether anyone has experienced
