Stansted Park 13-mile Slog
x-country or trail? by iacula

I've never done a cross country or a trial race before. But I have seen cross country can be a sticky, messy ankle turning experience at worst, is that what this is? Or is the ground mainly firm under foot as in "proper" cinder or other park paths

Open to all running tracks?
by glen collins

.Incidentally for those of you in the Leeds area, there is an old, rundown! (sorry) cinder track within Temple Newsam which can be used without charge. Norfolk - UEA track open to all (at certain times) £1.50 a session I think Boing Boing Bolton Arena is a top class
