I never know what to call that bit at the end of a run which not many of us do properly.  What do you think? warm up then cool down? oh and do a bit in the middle ! I always used to think it was 'cool down', but some peeps definitely claim to 'warm

Swimming, is important to cool down

Now that i can go for at lest 45-50 lengths on the pool.Usually i wwarm up, then do about 150-200 mts fast then stop for 20 seconds and finally do 4-5 lenghts very slow to coold down.Do you think is important to do the last 4-5 relaxed to cool down

OK, so your'll all geared up, trained well & in racing shape.How do you, do you warm up & cool down???My aim on race day is to get to the venue with as little hassle a possible, so arriving 1hr before start time, maybe just before for a bigger race

I have been running for about a year now and have never really subscribed to the idea of warm ups or cool down stretches.Most of the time I will start a run with a brisk walk.Some of the time (but rarely) I will finish a run with a brisk walk
