Has anyone run the Davos marathon in Switzerland? I am keen to know a little more around preparation in terms of gear to wear on the day, how tough the terraine is and any other tips for the day As regards terrain which one are you doing - the C42
Hoping someone can help me. I have entered this years K42 at Davos and am wondering what I should wear - both shoes and with regards to warmth. I did the K28 last year but it doesn't go above the snow line and normal shoes and clothes were fine
Would dearly like to do the Swiss Apline Marathon in Davos (the 42k category)at end of July - have heard it is difficult to get into because of limit of numbers. Have found flights/hotel but cannot book until i have confirmed entry. Online
I'm doing the Davos 30K race again this year (did it 2 years ago). It's a great race to do as it's in the beautiful Swiss mountains, but a lot of it's downhill! Also lots of crowd support and it's a big event in the town (also ultra marathon

Does anyone have any experience of decent and reasonably priced hotels in Davos? I was thinking of the Hotel Pischa - anyone stayed there or can you guys recommend anything? Sorry cannot remember hotel i stayed in last year but have been to Davos
be prepared to take anything up to 30-40 minutes longer than normal - don't worry it's the same for everyone. Just enjoy your run and have a good time - Davos is fantastic place for scenery How did you get on? I did it in 2008 in 2hr 40m. I entered again
in Davos in July eek! Anyway I'm wondering what I should be prepared for and what extra training in addition to club nights and races that really would be of benefit. If anyone can shed some insight into this race I'd really appreciate it!
