sore legs by Ice

I'm aching after a very long run this Sunday and looked for the problem in the health section. I found exactly what I'm suffering from: DOMS. Unfortunately, it's not stated wether I should rest, how long for, or, can I run through the pain, as I

Running with DOMS
that's Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (or just plain old stiff legs!) by nessy

I'm curious to know what you all think about running with stiff muscles from another activity. DOMS (as sports physios are now calling it when you get stiff legs the day or two after exercising) is a regular aftereffect of my martial arts training

Calf DOMS
by >><<

. Granted by your times you must have good natural endurance.DOMS should be weariness / a little bit of pain but nothing significant. If the pain you're getting is bordering on chronic then you should really see a professional.Icing would help by the way

DOMS - is it smart to keep training
by Naughty Cat

today will it delay recovery and ruin tomorrow's run? Or does exercise help speed up recovery from DOMS? I think exercise does help doms, but only a gentle slow shuffle-NOT 20 milesand Yoga shouldnt do that to you When I started yoga a couple of weeks

Been cycling a lot more then normal, day to day cycling on an actual bike for once! (rather then soley in a gym). When I exerice in a gym I stretch afterwards and rarely seem to get any DOMS pain- not unless I push it with the kettle balls
