Mixing Energy drink & water in a race
Does having both negate the effect of the energy drink? by JK12

it will be diluted. I have done a number of long runs and just ran on water and then did one where I only took lucozade every 20 mins and my time and strength throughout was much improved using just the lucozade. The problem is during a race the energy drinks

Having upped my mileage I've found I can't take on energy drinks on the run (ok during a breather), 've tried high 5 and lucozade recently, they give me an instant stitch, which is severe. Water is no problem. I can't see me getting round the london

what is the best energy drink to have during the day so you are ready for your evening training session? I would say none. You'd be far better eating something in the low to mid GI range.Energy drinks are basically high in sugar which is great
