Is a running assessment really necessary?
by David Murphy 23

, but this is a 30 second jog on a treadmill, with them watching a vid of it. Hardly worth £15. It's not like your getting expert advice from Alberto Salazar. Then again, it's your money. Go to town! its all rubbish. go and do it and watch him tell you you over

Breathing/nasal congestion
by Alan Pearce 2

. Is this a common problem? I seem to do this at least once every 30ish seconds. I'm loath to go towards nasal sprays as, from anecdotal advice, these appear to temporarily mask the problem & then your body adapts anyway. Any advice? i had the same sort

Running surfaces
by Stylishfella

? If not - then this might be the cause! If you have - then your problem is probably something that will get worse.Blackers advice is excellent - you need to get some expert advice 'informally' or professionally.

Training tips for running faster uphill?
How to get to the top of those fells/mountains faster by VO2 Max

received. Hi VO2 Max.I'm no expert on training specifically for fell/mountain races. But would like to point you in the direction of some runners who most probably are. Go to the Tri forum and on there is a fell running thread with lots of hardy types

Running Partner (London)
by Toby Reeves

run HowdyWork fairly centrally in London...tend to run at the gym or round where I live but could do a weekly park run in town. Not sure how much useful advice I could give, have been running a while but hardly an expert!  Olga (24...female...)

KNEE PAIN
by Jimmyjames

which is likely to take quite a few months at least to fix.I'm afraid you're going to have to get some medical help with this one. Ask your GP to refer you to an expert. And do NOT run! The race is on the 22 february. Would cycling be out
