With my last long run before the taper, I got caught in a coastal storm and gor a thorough freezing. I now have been in bed with flu for 4/5 days. THe GP says the body will take 2 weeks to clear the virus. I am worried that takes me to the 23rd

Man Flu
Bit like bird flu but worse by hurds

Any suggestions greatfully received....Everytime I up my milage and training efforts I either get man flu or injured or both as I am nowI live a pretty healthy life style and have a reasonably good diet...whats happening and what can i do
