gluteal bursitis
Best treatment by whizzy

The physio has decided that my 'pain in the butt' is caused by gluteal bursitis. Has anyone suffered from this and if so, what treatment did you have? I have been told that they may need to be injected with steroids, which does concern me a little

I fell whilst running 6 weeks ago and while the bruising on my coccyx went down I had a gluteal injury from which i am still recovering. I no longer need to take painkillers but if I bend the wrong way it seems to flair up again. I am doing Yoga

i am having problems with my right gluteal muscle, hip, and lower back. it used to only start hurting after about 1hr 45min, but now i can feel it even after 20min running. it doesn't hurt before running, so i need to go running to see whether

Think I have severely pulled a gluteal (pain in the ass anyway).Basically I had a niggling pain that got worse during my long run (14 miles) and when I stopped I could bareley walk. I am now confined to rest and am still limping. This all happened

running shoes.Old shoes that aren't designed for running are the cause of most aches and pains, particularly in new runners.The muscles of the lower back and gluteal muscles may be a bit tight and may need some sports massage. As Brian says it could be one

muscles both legs (calf, quad, ham, gluteals - the lot) but also forearms and shoulders. Last night I dried my hair and my arms were really sore and then I got cramp, for the 2nd time of late, in my inner thigh muscle - never, ever had that before
