Yorkshire 10K
by DAVID EXALL

Well organised, low key, family friendly event. Course mainly over grass and one or two areas tricky underfoot. Great atmosphere and very efficient results service on the day.Shall definitely put this one in next year`s diary!

HelloI have been injured with my knee for the past 8 months but feel much better. What could be the first steps towards running without going straight into a run ?Thanks I would suggest run / walking on grass for a couple of weeks.

nr Burnley by the King of egyptian toes

What`s this one like? Planning to do it this weekend. Not that bad a 50/50 up and down hill save a bit for the last third and the finish if I remember is on grass or a stone path but all in all a good run. Thanks Alan. Should be fun then!

by sk

Having completed my first ever 5k road race last year. I ended up with mild shin splints as most of my training was done on grass or trails and not road surfaces. I now want to run a 10 mile road race at the end of may but need advice on how

Redcar Marathon (Racecourse)
by Terry Hindson

.  The grass on the course will be 4 inches BUT there is a narrow strip next to the course (all round it) which is much shorter in the grass length, this would be the main route. if the weather is bad wont a race course in mid winter turn into a bog? I guess
