I ran this half marathon last year and thought it was very good. This year i was dissapointed with the distance signs. We didn't see a sign until 4 miles. First post so sorry if it is a bit abrupt!  I think the training programes on here are great

im reguarly doing 10k races but i want to make a step to do half marathons. I currently train 3 times a week and do on average 3 miles somtimes 6 miles. What should i be doing? There are lots of training plans on this site and across the web

I am the organiser of the 40th Freckleton Half Marathon, taking place in June 2004. You can enter t online at Runners World.I am trying to discover whether this race is the oldest in England, England with Wales or the whole of the UK.Can anyone help?
