it' s been a hard days night by Ultra Gobi: beware the Ultra side

sub75 HM beckons. Looking at the forecast, should probably have a nice tailwind in the second half of the race. Was walking/hobbling back to the school in Cumbernauld last week almost alongside you, but was deep in conversation with a couple

Joined a running club yesterday - not impressed!
this is long but please read it! by AngelaM

, you're possibly looking to join a club too early. As was stated earlier, the club members also need to get something out of the session. You really need to be able to run comfortably for about half an hour (stress: comfortably) before joining a club

Sunday 21 It's a brand new day
by 'Treadmill'

for several weeks, I can still run this fairly hilly circuit at under 8min/ml without killing myself. That bodes reasonably well for when I start to up the training soon to prepare for some half-marathons in the autumn.First visit to Highworth Running Club

The 'Losing it' Saturday weigh in.....
get on those scales!! by Aitch!

and not 'slack' too frequently. why a half mara? well if you're a marathon runner then it can be fit into your schedule, while if you're a beginner then it's a nice 6 month target. and the extra running will help with the weight loss.Pea 4lb lossJonny Blaze 3lb
