I used to row a lot and we trained a lot in heart rate zones (i.e train for 60 mins at 50-60% of your maximum heart rate or 8 x 1 min bursts at 90% of your max heart rate etc)I really want to apply this to running as it gives me some focus

I have just got myself a heart rate monitor, it was a cheaper model as a bit short of cash but on the reviews it said it was ok compared to makes of double the price with not much difference.My question is I can set the Zone setting to what I like
