I know it is not a good idea to run up any hills in the first 10 minutes or so of a run, but can I walk up one as part of my warmup and then do a 5 minute jog afterwards. Thanks for any help, Will I have never had an issue with starting on a hill

first time hill race by juleswill1

I am thinking of doing the Parbold Hill race this yearI Have been in 5 and 10k races but not to race to complete I also did Cardiff half in Oct and have two marathons booked this year.I thought this would be good as a hill run to build muscle
