hills on every run by 3

Is it good practice to include a hill on each training session?Shouldspeed work include ascent work also to improve all over form and potential race pace? Ultimately its a good idea to train on the terrain you plan to race on, hills do build

Hills in London
Hill training in London by Sleek Lemur

I love a good hill, me. I try and find as many hills as I can to do my general training. The other morning I discovered Canonbie Road, reputedly the steepest road in London. It's like san Francisco ! A bit. I also like Dog Kennel Hill, Sydenham Hill

I know it is not a good idea to run up any hills in the first 10 minutes or so of a run, but can I walk up one as part of my warmup and then do a 5 minute jog afterwards. Thanks for any help, Will I have never had an issue with starting on a hill

where are the hills? by LittleOne

HeyWhere do you train in London when you take to a hill session?Everywhere is so flat around me that's almost depressing! Richmond Hill ? It's only short but it's probably as good as you're going to get down there. Quite far from Home! Anything more

Constituting Hill?
Hills training by Phil Davis 3

I'm training for the Liverpool marathon following Antoniades' schedule from the Jan 2012 issue of RW. I've now reached the Hills sessions which ask me to do "20 X 1 minute Hills followed by 2 minute walk downs". I've just been out around Lincoln
