Hillwork
How do you do it?
by Running Kev
I've read lot's of advice regarding introducing hillwork in to a schedule.Bit of a silly question - but how do you do it?Do you pick a big hill and run up and down it?Do you pick a long route with lots of individual hills?Or do you map a short loop

Help With Hillwork

Sorry to bother you all chaps, but I need a bit of advice regarding hillwork sessions. My marathon training programme calls for 200m hill repeats. No problem there. I just wonder at what intensity should I run these. My friend told me I should

Hillwork on treadmill?
by Mark Smith 31
I am looking at doing some hillwork on a treadmill. Does anyone know of useful comparisons between flat running and hill running. What sort of comparisons do you mean? Flat is flat, uphill is uphill - nuff said. I like to do hill reps

Varicose veins?
by Toni Hall
been doing more hillwork, could it be that this has brought on the problem? Also, will further hillwork exacerbate it? I had a varicose vein that progressively got worse. I eventually had it stripped. The cause of my varicose vein was a faulty valve
