Have you put John Parker's suggestions to the test? by The Sutton Runner

. Since abandoning it, I've found that I'm slightly quicker.Perhaps I didn't do justice to the method by not hammering the hard days as much as I should have but I find that I am faster without it and have discovered that a HRM is a waste of time really

I have been using a HRM for 3 weeks now always running at 70% of my MHR (Hence my name!)I run on a treaddy for 30 minutes and then measure the average heart rate and the distance covered.Last week after 30 minutes my AHR was 137 and I had covered 2
