Increasing the mileage
Increasing fatigue by Chip Thai-ming

must take a regular day's rest each week.2. Don't increase your training any more until you can cope comfortably with what you are doing now.3. Make very small increases when you do step up a level. This way you will get used to the new level more

Increasing Distance

I run 5k in about 40mins at the moment.I want to increase my distance by about a mile, can I do this all at once? Is that too much? Thanks. 5k is 3 miles - rule of thumb is 10% - so do 3.5 miles then 4 miles. If it's too much stop and walk
