ITBS again, but new pain!
The ITBS is back, but with a whole new area of pain! by A Princess

I've had a blissful few months of pain-free running and, during my long run yesterday I started to get ITBS-type pains again-aaaarrrrgh! But it's also hurting down the outside of my shin-not a muscular pain or a boney ache, more of a nerve pain

NOT ITB?
thigh pain by mi0805runner

up (but NOT as far as the hip itself - just below in fact). Think its too far up to be ITB, too far back to be quad, too far forward to be hamstring?? Used to get a bit a sciatica before as well but this isn't the same - and it doesn't stop me running

ITB?
by shortnslow

I've had ITB (as diagnosed by a physio) since October. I followed the physio advice to the letter + didn't run for ages, did all the exercises etc and felt good enough (under physio advice) to restart running very gradually at Christmas
