ITBS - help!

I've been diagnosed with ITBS, which is causing me absolute agony high up on my right hip. Unfortunately, the physio has got me going to Pilates classes, which is fine but isn't getting me running again. I tried 15mins on the treadmill yesterday

ITBS recovary
by andrew heley

from runing totally and just cross train? Really hard to say. I've had ITB flare-ups in the past and people recommended taking minimum 3 months break from running. I duly followed this advice and found it just as bad as soon as I started running again

ITB problem
by Darren May 2

Hi can a ITB problem be fixed or how can I keep running for longer with ITB problem ? You can only fix it by resting. Once it kicks off you need a good few weeks off. Often it will feel fine to walk but if you try running you will be straight back

ITB BAND
using one by John Hanson 5

I have a problem with my itb-I am considering using a Itb support band. Has anyone used one? do they work? do you have to cure it first before using this as a future prevention. Thanks in advancve. In my professional opinion no, they don't work
