Back Again!
by jenny_f

I've decided to get back into running, having put on weight and generally become more unfit. I used to be fit, playing sport daily and even when I gave up I managed three half marathons - now I'd struggle!I don't have any fancy kit and don't live

brand new kit for races
do the elites do it? by cns

don't. Maybe their kit is so good that chaffing isn't an issue surely they always wear the same brand and style and just have different things printed or sewn on? Generally speaking, I always race in brand new gear, because I have to keep up

Idea 4: Wish list and Gear-I-own...
Building lists of your kit by Jeremy Tapp

guessing that the indiv kit lists could then be used for surveys as to what people use... kind of like a top 10 (as long as it isn't a general list, as has said before Nike tops!)... which would be useful if you were a beginner to see what would be possible

what can you do about smelly kit
by Edinburgh Flump

kit - try gear/general or URWFRC Haven't seen that other thread, but I got a tip years ago from a German cycling magazine. The persistent smell is due to bacteria, so pack any kit you like (works well for shoes!) into a poly bag and jam
