OK, got in from work and it was a tad chilly, so I decided a vest alone was not enough on the top layer (legs are OK in shorts pretty much all the time so far, unless there's nettles etc). So I put a tight coolmax t-shirt under my vest. *Way* too

cheap by ginger minger

anyone recommend where to shop for some cheap base layer clothing ? everytime i get to aldi there is never anything left. thanks Asda Thermal tops £5 for s/sleeves £7 for long sleeves and they ain't half0 bad

for skiing (and maybe running) by Boot

Can someone give me a run down of the 3 layer system? I'm not sure what goes in the mid layer! I have 2 Ron Hill Viloft long sleeve thermal/wicking tops, are these considered base (lower) layer or mid layer? I take it coolmax stuff are base layers

was at Lidl this morning and they are selling ski kit this week but in this range are some stretch thermal base layers for £9.99.they're a but more heavyweight than normal running base layers, but will be fine for those cold winter mornings
