Food - high protein low fat meals/recipes
by CTD1

To fuel my marathon training I need high protein/high carb foods, but because of gallstones, I need to eat foods fairly low in fats. Any suggestions? Does anybody have any good recipe books that tell you protein, carb and fat contents? Most

Full fat or low sugar?
What are you? by SophieC

I do think that some people persevere more and adapt to reduced fat/sugar varieties. I avoid all 'diet' foods and drinks, be they low-fat or low sugar if they have replaced the fat and sugar with nutritionally rubbish substitutes like artificial

Ham
by Screamadelica

you get the good quality stuff from a local butcher. Quality cuts of ham and pork can be extremely lean.  Pigs aren't quite as fat as they used to be apparently so if you cut off the visible fat what you're left with is generally pretty low in fat

The Runners Diet?
Is mine good? by mike rushton

(carefully marketed products) would have us believe that we will lose weight by eating low fat options (in fact the opposite is true) - if you eat foods low in fat you generally feel less satisfied and eat something else Fat, Carbs, Protein you need all 3
