First marathon - Goals?
by runningsnail
Thanks! Rule of thumb for a possible marathon finish time is double your half mara time plus 15-20 mins, so if you average a 1:50 half then you might do about 4 hours. For your first mara, I'd suggest setting a number of goals:- don't get injured or ill

What to aim for next?
by Minks

Is my sub-3.45 marathon goal realistic?
by "Crofty"
I am trying to assess whether my marathon goals are realistic with just over 4 months until the Paris marathon, and hoping some runners might be able to share their training performance history so I can assess if I can get to 12km/hr = 5min k's pace
