Long Slow Distance Run - make sense to you?

started suffering with a mere marathon to go we eventually hobbled over the line, still as a team, in 28 hours. This year some of us want to try and do it within 18 hours! Which means plenty of running it. I'd also like to knock off my first running

cut down in the weeks leading up to a marathon? I remember reading Ron Hill saying he would go for 8 weeks or so before key marathons (but he also did training runs early mornings after a late night sesh). OOOOhYou give me hope, though i DO drink more
