Quality vs Quanity
miles or sessions??

My main aim of the future is to improve on my 10k and h/m times. Bu am faced with a problem with my training, do I go for miles or go for sessions.Pbs for these distances are: 10k 38mins, but done on a off road and hilly course. H/M 1.56, but done

I have been running through the winter4 times a week about 14/15mile.Now thelight nights are here and being a keengolfer im playing more golf but also want to keep running;should i do two longer running sessions instead of the four shorter sessions

Printed out the Sub-3:45 schedule (as I'm preparing for the Paris Marathon) and noticed that the first 2 interval sessions are at 13.5 to 14.5kph (c7min miling). This seems about right: tough but about right. However most of the other interval

Interval Training Frequency

sessions. If you're looking at longer races, then you'll benefit more from mile/2k reps. Short reps (100m) and plyometrics are also beneficial.

When it says on a session to do 7 miles with 4 miles at theshold, what does threshold refer to?Is it your speed threshold??? LonglegsRW pace keyHope this help! I used to think it was "pain threshold", which is about how it feels.
