months of running training behind us now (after a pregnancy break). I (36) am heavy (105 kg) and not of running physique (ex-rower), my wife (35) is much more of a running build, but we both share the same "problem" of going over our 65% limit easily

Starting again after Emergency C Section

Varicose veins - do they get worse with running?

I am in my third week of running and am pleased to say it is getting easier and I am really enjoying it, albeit that I am taking it slowly. I have a few varicose veins (appeared during my 3 pregnancies), none of which give me serious concerns yet

But true ~ assumptions were made doesn't your pulse rate increase in pregnancy anyhow?My BP and pulse were deffo linked in pregnancy cos I got awful white coat hypertension. Me too flr! Still have. Ended up with a 24hr bp monitor. All fine at home
