´ve marshalled on the finishing line of a few races and being sick at the end of a race is not an uncommon occurrence among runners!Maybe our medical experts can throw some light on this but I´ve felt sick when running after eating cereal - could be something

Hi - gross topic I'm afraid!I've been sick during two races now - the first a half marathon last year and the Milton Keynes 8 mile race yesterday. Once I've been sick, I feel much better and can carry on to the end with little other problem.I tend

Hi can someone please help me?On 2 out of the 3 last longer distance events (a half marathon and 20 miler) I have been sick after 6 miles. It is killing my racing. Once I start feeling sick, i then end up being sick, am in the middle of no place

Hi  Question for anyone out there... ran the new forest 10 on sunday, great race...  after crossing the finishing line i  was sick.  This happens a few times not all the time!!!  any tips or advice please..Would love to hear from anyone with similar

of pace i race near enough 5.30 min/miles and train at between 6.30-8 min miles. I've read this naeous feeling and sickness etc is caused by blood being diverted away from the stomach where it is used to help digest food to being diverted to the legs

problem were i seem to want to be sick, sometimes i just gag but nothing ever comes out. Its a little frustrating because it slows me down and now plays on my mind at each race.I dont get this condition often in training but i have had it the odd time

I am always sick during my races

, easy long runs. When i run the race I blast out and get sick quicker, yesterday I ran well within myself and felt sick half way into it and wretched hard 1km from home. I have tried different eating patterns, e.g. 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours before

I wondered if anyone had any advice???? I run regularly and have for the past 5 years, whenever I do a half marathon race or over I am fine during the race but then am sick afterwards for up to 4 hours. It has happenned since I first started racing
