Retirement plans
anyone think of something better? by Lee-sterine (M.)

Upon reaching retirement age I intend to spend all my money in a glorious week of self indulgence. I then plan to commit some monstrous crime, get caught and put in prison for the remainder of my life. Free health and dental care, three meals a day

Retirement age to be lifted to 67?
to subsidise early public sector early retirees by Torque Steer

on to your revised age of 67:-) news herefor reference I'll probably have to work till I'm 75 before I'll be able to afford retirement. That's why I run - to keep fit enough to keep working! Been guaranteed retirement at 60, which was the deal when I signed up

When to retire running shoes?
Need new shoes? by Tracey Hall 6

Do shoes break down with time or miles?Does anyone know the magic retirement calculation for running shoes? I buy the same trainer all the time and they don't last the same miles. They seem to last about 750miles in the summer months and 500 miles

Retirement from IM
by Bionic Ironwolf

start - 5km and 10km, no more marathons. Guess I'm now officially forcibly retired from IM.      The day after my release from rehab, I'll be on a plane to England to support OH's Channel relay swim - wonder if my implant will set off the alarm
