Hi guysreally getting into 5ks at the moment but how can i stop myself from running then running out of puff and walking a few yards and then running on again? Sounds a silly question i know and i'm sure there is a better way to ask the question

In need of some advice please....I'm doing New York in November and due to an ankle break earlier in the year will be run/walking the whole marathon - 5 mins running 1 minute walking.I thought about delaying a year but have put in a lot of training

There is a belief that it is actually MORE beneficial to add intervals of walking into your runs to prevent injuries / build mileage etc. Whenever (if ever) I walk during my runs I feel like I cheated myself, but can walking really 'help
