Outdoor running

Hello,I've always enjoyed running and run reg. at the gym doing 9-10K in about an hour.I want to have a go of running outdoors, as never done it. Not keen on running on my own outdoors, at least to start with.Unfortunately no one I know at present

and the appropriate type of shoe determined, Not JJB or similar high street stores, . Running outside is completely different to the treadmill, on the treadmill you will need to put the incline to 1 to replicate outdoor running and the roads are not cushioned like

Hi, I have been running on and off on a treadmill for about 6 months. Can manage about 10k on the treadmill so thought I'd be fine doing that outside...which I was not!!! I am now trying to build up my outdoor running, I am doing 2 miles eveyday

Help - Outdoor running

during my outdoor runs I find myself having to stop/slow to a walk a few times during the run. All I'm looking for is to be able to run for 30-45 mins non-stop at a speed of about 11kph. What's really bugging me is that I can cycle and walk miles outdoors

somewhere nice when it's light at the weekends (assuming that you're free to run during daylight hours at the weekend)? There'll be plenty to see (icluding hecklers and dogs, as Benz says) and a two or three mile outdoor run will feel great afterwards. I
