JIm,look at this thread I did a while back. I had ITBFS, caused by stiff sacro-iliac joint. Need to work on glutes as well.....and stretch and stretch and stretch.

it was all down to me shoes, i went to a proper running shop and was fited with a good pair of shoes and all the pain and problems went over night, might be worth a try if you havent already i have a similar problem and have been assessed as having sacro-iliac
