I seem to remember some charity somewhere that takes old/used running shoes for folks in poor countries, rather than throwing them in the bin they may as well go to a good cause.Anyone know what the charity is or where to send them ?? No idea but it

getting used to new shoes

seemed fine.After my run though, it seemed that the pain in my foot got worse, and even had spread out to the sole of my foot, sometimes aching my achiles as well.Is this because my shoes are so new and I am just not used to them yet?I want to go

for severly disabled children that use the old foil blankets. They usually put out adverts nearer marathon time. Old shoes i usually donate to either red cross (there's a box in our local cobblers) or the Salvation Army who give them to street people.

want is to end up in the canal!!!The only shoes I have are my Mizuno ones that I used for the marathon, and an old asics pair. Would I be better off trying to get some shoes with more grip? If so, any suggestions???? Yes only don't use sportshoes
