I need to put some speed work into my training, but not really sure how to do it? i run about 4 to 6 times a week, sometimes 20 mins and up to an hours....im not fast my 5k is around 30 minutes and i think i did 5.6 miles in and around an hour. can

running under someone else's number for the Cardiff 1/2 on Sunday. Beligerantly pushed out 13 consecutive 8min/miles for a 1:44. Now I have a 7 mile road race 2 weeks this Sunday and need some speed work as I'm quite comfortable with the surprising amount

go out and run a marathon at that pace without the necessary training etc.What marathon pace is useful to know for is that it's the speed you should run your longer tempo sessions at. So any tempo run of 40 mins or longer should be done at marathon

What are the comparable running speeds by Boozeboy

I am looking to start cycling.Can anyone tell me how I can equate speeds on a bike to speeds on foot with respect to how much of a workout it gives me.I don't have a heart rate monitor but i have a garmin so i can calculate my speed and distance
