I am a new-ish runner. Having run a few 5k races with a pb of 36min 16sec. Now I was wondering if these time trials are open for someone like me, or are they for the super-speedy runners out there? Am I going to be so far behind the rest

Had a club time trial over 800m last night at the track, and as we finished one of the other runners said 'I decided to sit behind you for pace' to meHe had me by .5 of a second over the line in the results Is this a bit naughty for a time trial

Thanks ! Jay F It's not likely to be much help to you personally but we have put permanant mile markers on the seafront at Hythe - the club ran a time trial there last week.Have you tried contacting any clubs to see if they have set up anything similar
