are not covered, but running is, and there was no option to add-on dangerous sports cover.UK - Yes, the EHIC (Previously E111) will cover you for health care within Europe, but...It won't cover you for emergency transport home, or even assisted medical travel

'm in Europe ... but if you've got travel insurance anyway doesn't that cancel out the need for E111? Well... It takes about 2 seconds. Useful if you need hospitalisation! If you wave an E111 in a doctor's face you get immediate treatment, if you rely
